Last Thursday I was reminded why it is I love my job so much. It’s quite a moving thing to play such an intimate roll in the lives of strangers. And when I’m able to share that same joy with friends it adds a richness to my life that’s hard to describe. I’ve known Kyle for about 12 years and he is like blood to me. I am blessed to have the best friends a man can have. It was a very special thing for Kyle to ask me to be a part of one of the biggest moments in his life. Kyle proposed to Julie at Varanese on Franfort Ave in Louisville, Ky. These are some of the images we made after Julie’s big surprise. More to be added in the next couple days. FYI, Kyle is also a VERY good designer and is responsible for the Chris Radcliffe Photography identity and the Tim Webb Workshops identity. Check out his work and services here

Well, I expected a great/fun/light-hearted/good time of a wedding… and Scott and Ann Marie did not disappoint. Two great families one awesome wedding. Great church, great reception hall… Outstanding band, Fibbion Handful. From top to bottom, it was about as good as a wedding can get.

Scott and Ann Marie are super cool people and very, very easy to work with. Here are some quick previews of their wedding photos. If you haven’t, check out their engagements as well.

These images were taken inside and outside three different bars in Mount Adams, a burg of Cincinnati. I had an insanely good time with these two. They were literally down for anything. This was one of the most intimate and unguarded couples I’ve ever photographed. I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding this weekend 1.16.10

{Robbie + Tara} Engagements

I’ve always wanted to say this in public forum… and now is my chance. Robbie is flippin hilarious!!! Everything that comes out of his mouth is funny. That’s a rare thing. I’m lucky to have some funny friends. In fact most of my close friends are funny. SO, that qualifies me make the above statement. I consider myself an expert on what is funny… not because I am… because I immerse myself in hilarity.

K. Now, about Robbie and Tara. They might be as close to “perfect” for each other as I’ve seen. They seem so content to JUST BE together. Makes us people in “normal” relationships a bit nauseous. As long as they keep laughing together I can’t imagine they’ll ever have a dull day. Here’s to a great wedding (1.30.10) and a long and happy life. Check back in a couple weeks for their wedding previews!

The image below isn’t an extraordinary photograph… it’s the moment that’s extraordinary. When Greg saw his bride for the first time he literally could not peel his eyes off of her. This was also the first time I saw them together and I KNEW immediately that he loved her completely. The way her looked at her, adored her, gave me chills. Throughout the ceremony, I found myself fighting back tears and laughing out loud … like I’d known them for years.
